The team lost to Iceland with five unanswered goals in the qualifying round for WC-2026. In Baku, they drew with the Ukrainian team - 1:1.
It should be noted that Spain (1875.37) is in the first place in the FIFA ranking. France (1879.92) is second, and Argentina (1870.32) is third.
