"I have been in Oslo since April 5. I am doing an internship at the "Valerenga" club."
These words were said by Elnur Chovdarov, the coach of the Azerbaijan national football team, who is participating in a week-long internship program at "Valerenga", one of the leading clubs in Norway, within the framework of the UEFA Pro license education program.
He stated that football is very loved in Norway.
"Valerenga" is one of the leading and well-established clubs in the country. The city has a population of approximately 500,000. On April 6, I watched the match against "Viking" live from the stadium. The atmosphere in the arena was magnificent. The city is completely different on game days," he said in a statement to AZERTAC.

The specialist said that his trip to Norway was related to gaining experience in the main team:
"For the Pro license, it is required to gain experience in the academy and the main team. Since I had my academy experience last year at the Spanish club "Real Betis", this time I am in the A team. Therefore, I do not have extensive information about the "Valerenga" academy."

E.Chovdarov said that the members of the "Valerenga" team are aware of Azerbaijani football:
"I had conversations with them about this. Here they know our clubs, especially "Qarabag". They have watched the successful performances of the Aghdam club in European competitions. As for the infrastructure, for example, if we compare "Valerenga" with "Qarabag", the situation is almost the same."
