The awarding ceremony of the 2024/25 season of the Azerbaijan Cup has been held.
Idman.biz reports that the awards were presented at the event by AFFA President Rovshan Najaf, General Secretary Jahangir Farajullayev, and Elgiz Abbasov, who is acting as the President of the PFL.
First, the representatives of justice of the "Qarabag" - "Sabah" match (2:3) received commemorative gifts. The AFFA representative, referee-inspector, and referee team went to the honorary podium.
A special award was presented to Leandro Andrade (15 goals), the top scorer of the Misli Premier League.
Then, the members of "Qarabag", who lost in the final, received their awards. Finally, the players of "Sabah", the winner of the cup, came to the podium. First, gold medals were presented to the football players and coaching staff. Captain Amin Seydiyev raised the cup over his head.
