It should be noted that the 25th U-20 World Championship, which has been organized every two years since 1977, will be hosted by Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. Thus, for the first time in football history, the World Cup will be held in Azerbaijan in a men's competition. Also, for the first time, the Azerbaijani men's national team will participate in the final stage of the World Championship.
