"Imishli" held its preparation for the second half of the season in Baku.
Team captain Azer Salahli evaluated the training camp.
"Our training camp went normally as we planned. I believe that our team's performance will improve and develop from game to game. Despite our limited time, we worked with maximum effort to improve our physical and tactical condition during the preparation process. We believe that we will see the benefits of this training camp and the work done in the championship games," he said in a statement to futbolpress.az.
A.Salahli touched upon the team's performance in the season:
"The first half went normally. We achieved better results than expected. Of course, we had the opportunity to do better. Overall, our performance is satisfactory. We will try to increase our good results in the next round as well."
"Imishli" is in ninth place with 17 points after 16 rounds. The team will host "Araz-Nakhchivan" on January 23 as part of the 17th round.
