Kapaz defeated Araz-Nakhchivan 1-0 in the 1/8 final stage of the Azerbaijan Cup and advanced to the next round. Sport24.az reports that Kapaz's head coach Azer Bagirov stated the following at the post-match press conference:
"It was an interesting game for both us and the fans. I don't know why, but I believed in the victory. We had talked a lot about the opponent, we knew that if we played without mistakes, we could win. We played well in defense and won an important victory. The refereeing was normal today. I was satisfied not only because we won, but overall. Mistakes happen, but it is impossible to avoid them."
