Azer Bagirov after the defeat to "Imishli": "A new goalkeeper transfer may be possible in winter, we will think about it"

"Kapaz" lost to "Imishli" with a score of 0:3 in the 9th round of the Misli Premier League at the Gabala city stadium. Sport24.az reports that the head coach of the Ganja representative, Azer Bagirov, answered journalists' questions at the press conference held after the game:

- It's a very heavy defeat. We didn't play badly until the red card. Something was working in some episodes. After the "red", our whole game plan was ruined.

- Last round you defeated "Shamakhi" who were left with 10 players,  and today you were defeated being a man down yourself. Is it possible to say that the victory in the previous match was accidental?

- Maybe the question is not correct. This is football. In "Shamakhi", when the opponent got a red card, we were ahead in the score. Today, the team was not bad in the first 25 minutes.

- The second and third goals were scored from the near corner. How do you assess the goalkeeper's performance?

- There is no need to comment. There is a lot to talk about. But today we need to be silent. We must collect as many points as possible until winter.

- Is a new goalkeeper transfer expected in winter?

- Anything can happen, we'll think about it.

- Was there a specific reason for your choice of goalkeeper?

- There is no special reason. We make a choice based on the approach to training, disciplinary rules. We also consult with the goalkeeper coach. It was not a spontaneous decision. We have weekly discussions in training.
