"As you know, we sent Sanan Muradli back to "Sumgayit". We have no plans to part ways with any other player." These words were said by Aykhan Abbasov, the head coach of "Shamakhi", in his statement to Sport24.az.
The experienced specialist stated that the transfer issues of his team are not on the agenda during the winter break:
"Only if a young player leaves for a club where he wants to play regularly, that's another matter. Transfer is not on the agenda in the winter break. We have a certain budget, and we have built a team accordingly. As I said, if any player leaves, we can make a transfer if our budget allows it. We are not thinking about it now. The club's budget does not allow it."
Abbasov announced the names of the two opponents his team will face as part of the preparation process:
"Our two opponents in friendly matches are known. On January 11, we will have a test match with "Sabah", and on the 17th with U-21."
It should be noted that after 16 rounds, the regional representative with 20 points in its assets went to the break in 7th place.
