Abbasov recalled that they had seen the same scene before in the game in Guba, and emphasized that one point earned against such a closed game is important in terms of maintaining their place in the tournament table.

Speaking about the club's goals for the current season, the expert noted that the main goal was to stay in the Premier League. He said that "Shamakhi" does not differ from other lower-ranked teams in terms of budget and opportunities, but despite this, they show stable results with young people and new legionnaires. He attributed the failure in the cup to the strength of the opponent "Garabagh" and the lack of experience in his own squad.

To the journalists' question about the bonuses given to clubs for local players and therefore giving young people more chances, Aykhan Abbasov's answer was firm. The head coach stated that this issue belongs solely to him and has not been discussed with the management.
