Some time ago, İdman.Biz presented its readers with an extensive interview with Zakir Aliyev, who was the first in the Azerbaijani press to turn the yard of his private house into a football field for children. The interview immediately aroused great interest from readers and the country's sports community after it was published.
Thus, Zakir Aliyev's effort, who approaches football with great enthusiasm and love, did not go unnoticed. Today, the small stadium he created was visited by Aykhan Abbasov, the head coach of the Azerbaijan national football team.
Zakir Aliyev himself informed İdman.Biz about this.
He said that along with the head coach of our national team, the head of the Mass Football Department of AFFA Farrukh Ismayilov, the former football player of "Qarabağ" Ilgar Gurbanov, as well as football players of the "Araz-Nakhchivan" club were in Kurdakhani. The guests presented the children with 10 footballs, sports clothes and training equipment.

Young football players trained together with "Araz-Nakhchivan" players, took photos and had the opportunity to talk with Aykhan Abbasov.
"The children were incredibly motivated and in high spirits. It was truly an unforgettable and happy day for them. Aykhan Abbasov could not stay for a long time because the match between Azerbaijan and Iceland national teams will be held tomorrow, but he found time to watch the training. He said that truly professional football players of the future can grow from this yard, and wished us success," said Zakir Aliyev.
According to the coach from Kurdakhani, this visit was a very important event for him as well as for his students. He also noted that a new surface was recently laid on the field with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
"I am very grateful that such a result was achieved after my activity was highlighted. To be honest, when I heard that representatives of AFFA and the head coach of the national team would come to us, my heart was about to jump out of my chest with joy. It is very nice to see that my work and efforts are appreciated. This gave me extra motivation to contribute more to football and support children on their way to a professional career."
For your information, İdman.Biz was the first to highlight the fact that Zakir Aliyev, who lives in the village of Kurdakhani, turned the yard of his private house into a football field for children.
