The new head coach of the Azerbaijan national team has been announced.
Idman.biz, citing Sport1.az, reports that Aykhan Abbasov will coach our team.
A contract will be signed with the specialist on a "1+2" condition.
Aykhan Abbasov will lead our team in 4 matches of the World Championship qualifying round. If the team led by the specialist scores at least 1 point in these meetings, the condition in the coach's contract will come into force.
It should be noted that our team is in Group D of the World Championship qualifying round. Our team managed to score 1 point in 2 games. Our national team's next match will be against France. The match will be held in Paris on October 10.
