Feyenoord's Japanese forward Ayase Ueda has quietly taken the lead in the goalscoring race in Europe.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, his team defeated Zwolle 6-1, with the forward himself scoring four goals. He now has 18 goals in 15 league games, 1 of which was from a penalty!
This surge allowed Ayase Ueda to surpass Harry Kane, who has 17 goals in the Bundesliga, but he scored them in just 13 games. Slightly behind them are Kylian Mbappe from Real Madrid (16 goals), Erling Haaland from Manchester City (15 goals), and Mason Greenwood from Marseille (10 goals).
Feyenoord plays in the Europa League, and Ayase Ueda's situation there is worse, with one goal in four games.
For comparison, Kane has five goals in five games.
