Spain's "Atletico" club is closely interested in 19-year-old midfielder Kees Smit, who plays for the Dutch team "AZ Alkmaar". Sport24.az reports that journalist Ekrem Konur has announced this and stated that the Madrid club's scouts are carefully monitoring the player's performances.
Previously, "Real" was considered the main candidate for the Dutch midfielder. However, the addition of "Atletico" to the race could further intensify the competition for the transfer.
It is noted that England's "Manchester City" and "Chelsea", as well as "Barcelona", are also interested in Kees Smit.
