"Atletico Madrid" is interested in signing "Bayern" midfielder Leon Goretzka before the current transfer window closes.

The head coach of the Spanish club, Diego Simeone, considers strengthening the midfield a priority in the transfer market. Conor Gallagher previously joined "Tottenham Hotspur", which led the Madrid club to look for another player to replace him. The Munich club wants about 20 million euros for Goretzka, but "Atletico Madrid" considers this price too high.
Goretzka has participated in 28 games for the club this season and scored one goal. His current contract with the club runs until June 2026. Transfermarkt estimates his market value at 15 million euros.
