"Atletico Madrid" has identified three candidates to replace forward Antoine Griezmann, who signed a contract with MLS club "Orlando City."
Idman.Biz reports this with reference to Sport.es.
The Spanish club is considering transferring PSG player Lee Kang-in. "Atletico" is also interested in Mason Greenwood from "Marseille" and Ferran Torres from "Barcelona."
"Atletico" management is attracted to the Korean footballer's ability to break defenses in tight spaces and his synergy with forwards. Greenwood combines the ability, pace, and experience to put the final point in the Spanish league, while Torres is a versatile player who can cover multiple positions.
"Orlando City" announced Griezmann's transfer on March 24. His contract will expire in July 2026. The contract will be valid until the end of the 2027/2028 season and may be extended for another year.
