The Spanish football club "Athletic" plans to sell Nico Williams, one of the team's most expensive players, in the summer transfer window. This is due to the fact that the player's performance this season has not satisfied the management and coaching staff.
Idman.Biz reports, citing "El Nacional", that the Bilbao club is already ready to evaluate offers for the winger.
Interestingly, "Athletic" intends to accept offers lower than the release clause amount of 95 million euros (190 million AZN) stipulated in the player's contract.
Several European giants, especially "Barcelona" and Premier League clubs, are closely interested in Williams' transfer. The decline in the player's performance and the club's decision to lower the price have significantly increased the likelihood of this transfer taking place in the summer.
