Idman.Biz reports that the match held at the "San Mamés Barria" stadium in Bilbao ended with a 2:1 victory for the visiting team.
The first goal of the match was scored by the home team's forward, Alex Berenguer, in the 38th minute. At the end of the first half, in the 44th minute, Catalan club defender Carlos Romero equalized the score. In the second half, forward Pere Milla gave "Espanyol" the lead with a goal in the 52nd minute.
After this match, "Espanyol" is fifth in the Spanish top division with 33 points, and "Athletic Bilbao" is eighth with 23 points.
