Spanish club "Athletic" (Bilbao) is considering parting ways with head coach Ernesto Valverde in the summer.
According to "larazon.es", "Report" reports that the La Liga representative is looking for a replacement for the specialist whose contract expires in the summer.
The team is not keen on signing a new contract with Valverde at the end of the current season. Therefore, they have started searching for a new coach.
The Basque management sees Andoni Iraola, the current head coach of "Bournemouth", who plays in the English Premier League, as the main candidate for this position. In addition, the club is also considering the options of Iñigo Pérez, who leads "Rayo Vallecano" in Spain, and Eder Sarabia, who currently coaches "Elche".
Sarabia's contract with "Elche" is valid until 2027, while Iraola and Pérez could gain free agent status at the end of the season.
