Beşiktaş striker Tammy Abraham could continue his career at Aston Villa.
İdman.Biz reports this with reference to Sky Sports.
According to the source, representatives of the "lions" attended the Turkish Super League 18th round match in which Beşiktaş won 1:0 over Kayserispor and met with the player's agent. It is also reported that negotiations were held with the management of the Turkish team. The transfer is complicated by the fact that Abraham's rights belong to Roma and he is currently on loan at Beşiktaş.
An alternative option for Aston Villa is Crystal Palace player Jean-Philippe Mateta, but the Birmingham club will later compete with Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United. Mateta himself wants to play for a team competing in the Champions League.
Abraham previously played for Milan. He also played for Aston Villa on loan from Chelsea from 2018 to 2019.
