The "Opta" supercomputer has updated its predictions for the outcome of the Europa League after the main stage. According to Sport24.az, the analytical model has identified the tournament's favorite in terms of the probability of winning the title.
"Aston Villa" is the main contender for the cup. Unai Emery's team has a 44 percent chance of winning the title, which is four times more than its closest rivals. "Roma" is second with 10.1 percent, while "Porto" completes the top three with 9.3 percent. Lyon (7.5%) and Nottingham Forest (5.3%) are in the "top five". The remaining teams have less than a 5 percent chance of winning.
According to "Opta's" prediction, "Stuttgart", "Braga", "Betis", "Freiburg" and "Midtjylland" also have a slight chance of winning the Europa League.
