Idman.Biz reports that these words were said by Asim Khudiyev, an international-level football referee-inspector who was awarded the individual pension of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan based on the Order of the Head of State Ilham Aliyev.
A.Khudiyev noted in his statement to AZERTAC that this pension was assigned to him as a result of his 50 years of activity: "This year marks the 50th anniversary of my activity in Azerbaijani sports. In 1975, I first joined the "Neftchi" team as a football player. Today, it is a great honor for me to be awarded as a reward for that work. This pension is not only material support for me, but also a moral motivation."
Speaking about his future plans, the referee-inspector added: "If my health allows, I will continue to serve Azerbaijani sports. I am currently working as a referee-inspector, representing Azerbaijan in both local and European-level official matches."
