The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has postponed the draw for the final stage of the 2027 Asian Cup. The event was scheduled to take place on April 11 in Riyadh. Sport24.az reports that the organization's official website has released information about this.
The AFC stated that the decision to postpone the draw was made for security reasons.
It should be noted that the final stage of the Asian Cup will be held in Saudi Arabia from January 7 to February 5 next year. Previously, Asian Champions League matches were postponed due to the situation in the Middle East.
