Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has revealed what lessons his team learned from last season on the eve of the start of the 2025/26 Champions League group stage.
Idman.biz reports that the Spanish specialist voiced decisive opinions about Arsenal.
He emphasized that they are strong enough: "We can face any opponent, every day. There are two important factors for this: the readiness of the entire team in critical moments and the ability to get the ball through the goal when the opportunity arises. It was a great misfortune that we did not reach the semi-finals last season. But you can learn a lot from this. What is important here is not only feelings, but also the expectations we set for ourselves and a real belief that we can go all the way. We have shown very good stability throughout the tournament, and now we need to build on that and try to be better."
It should be noted that Arsenal will face Athletic away today in the first round of the group stage.
