Arteta REVEALED why "Arsenal" couldn't become champion

Head coach of "Arsenal" Mikel Arteta stated that injuries hindered his team.

According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, the Spanish specialist believes that "Arsenal" could have become the champion of England if there had been no injuries and red cards.

It is worth noting that in this season of the Premier League, the "Gunners" are indeed the team with the most injuries and red cards.

"Of course, red cards and injuries. But we don't know what would have happened if it hadn't been for that. Would we have been closer? For me, the answer is definitely "yes." But next season we have to do something else, because the expectation will be higher.

And if you look at what has happened in the last three seasons, it is very rare that we achieve consistent results in places where we have not become champions. So we are very close, probably so close that we have to keep going and get better," Arteta emphasized.
