Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has revealed the reason why his team is the only English representative in the Champions League.
Idman.Biz reports that the Spanish specialist emphasized that the tight match schedule is the main factor.
"There is a reason why we are the only English team in this tournament. This game schedule is incredibly tiring! We are not ideal, we need to improve, that's for sure. But let's also appreciate the work the players are doing," said Arteta.
It should be noted that Arsenal will face Atletico Madrid for a place in the final. The first game will be held in Madrid on April 29, and the return match will be held in London on May 5.
The tournament final will take place on May 30 at the Puskas Arena stadium in Budapest.
