Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has stated that Manchester City head coach Josep Guardiola is his hero.
Idman.Biz reports that Arteta worked at City in Guardiola's headquarters.
"I met him when I was 15 years old. He was my hero as a player. We worked together and lived one of the best periods of my life. It is still a great honor for him that I am sitting in this chair today.
Probably because we are very close in terms of philosophy and the education we received in Barcelona. Then I felt it was right to leave the club, learn from others and gain a different experience. And he immediately gave me the opportunity to join the coaching staff. This is one of the best decisions of my life," Sky Sports quoted Arteta as saying.
