Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta shared his thoughts after the 1-2 defeat against Manchester City in the Premier League. Sport24.az reports that the Spanish specialist emphasized that despite the defeat, they have not lost hope of winning the championship.
Arteta stated that he was satisfied with his team's performance on the field, but the result was not what he wanted:
"The positive thing is that we saw the level and we can cope with this level, we can even do better. Today we showed who the team is, its character. We were close to victory, but not enough. Today we missed a great opportunity."
Evaluating the chances in the championship race, the head coach reminded that there are still important games ahead:
"There are only five games left and we will fight to the end. We have full confidence in this. Today we showed who the team is and everything is still in our hands."
