Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger disagrees with UEFA's rules in European competitions.
"Report" informs that the 75-year-old specialist stated this in an interview with "BeIN Sports".
He said that it is not the right decision for the winner of the Europa League to automatically qualify for the Champions League:
"This team should qualify for the Europa League, not the Champions League. Let's consider that 5 clubs from the English Premier League will already have the right to participate. I think UEFA should review this issue. But they will say that they took this step to make the Europa League interesting and meaningful."
It should be noted that in the first match of the semi-final stage of the Europa League, "Tottenham" from England defeated Norway's "Bodo-Glimt" team with a score of 3:1. "Manchester United" was superior to "Athletic" in Spain - 3:0.
