FIFA's head of global development, Arsene Wenger, has admitted to problems with the quality of the pitch in US stadiums hosting the Club World Cup. Sport24.az reports that the French functionary made a statement to Reuters about this:
"I have personally seen the pitch in Orlando. Yes, it is not the level that European clubs are used to. However, the shortcomings will be eliminated by next year's World Cup."
It should be noted that the ongoing Club World Cup is being held in 11 cities and 12 stadiums in the United States.
