"Arsenal" has begun negotiations with RB Leipzig central defender Castello Lukeba. Sport24.az reports, citing L'Equipe, that the French footballer is preparing to leave the German club after three seasons.
According to the source, the German club is demanding 60-70 million euros for the 23-year-old footballer. Arsenal scouts watched Lukeba live on February 21 in the Bundesliga match against Borussia Dortmund (2:2). The defender wants to continue his career in the English or Spanish league.
It should be noted that Lukeba has made 23 appearances in all tournaments this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist. His current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2029. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is 45 million euros.
