Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard injured his knee in the recent derby against West Ham and was substituted before the break. He has been diagnosed with damage to the inner lateral ligament of his knee joint.
According to Idman.Biz, citing the BBC, the Norwegian is out until the next international break. His return to the field is not expected until the end of November.
Odegaard will miss key games against Fulham, Crystal Palace, Brighton and Burnley, as well as Champions League matches against Atletico Madrid and Slavia Prague, and a League Cup match against Sunderland.
After seven rounds, despite numerous personnel changes in Mikel Arteta's squad, Arsenal lead the English Premier League with 16 points.
