Approximately 600 footballers in Turkey will be called in for questioning as part of an investigation into illegal betting on matches. Sport24.az reports that the "Türkiye" portal released information according to the Turkish news agency.
It should be noted that in early November, the Disciplinary Committee of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) announced the punishment of 149 referees who were found to have betting accounts with bookmakers. Forty-two referees placed more than 1,000 bets on matches.
