Law enforcement agencies in the Samara region of Russia have detained approximately 20 football players playing for an amateur football team called "Team Young."
Lent.az reports, citing local media, that the reason for their detention was the players' regular attacks on rivals and spectators, as well as insulting everyone on the basis of nationality. It was determined that the majority of the football players were illegal migrants. They were also supported by fans made up of compatriots. These fans came to "Team Young" games and participated in conflicts.
During the detention, people under the influence of drugs were also discovered.
