Report, citing Indykaila News, reports that the 47-year-old specialist made this decision voluntarily.
He has reached an agreement with the management of the Merseyside club on this matter. The Dutch head coach will remain in his position until the end of the season. It is expected that Spaniard Xabi Alonso will be brought to this position.
It should be reminded that Arne Slot's contract with Liverpool will expire in 2027. The team is currently in fifth place in the English Premier League.
