Liverpool manager Arne Slot spoke about his team's striker, Aleksander Isak.
İdman.Biz reports that the Swedish striker suffered an ankle injury in the Premier League's 17th round in a 2-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
"It's obviously a big disappointment that Aleksander Isak won't be able to play with us for a while. He showed his agility and ability to put the final point when he got injured, so his absence is a big blow. If I were allowed to wish for Christmas, I would wish Isak a quick and full recovery. During this time, we, as well as other players who are not available for one reason or another, will have to live without him. This is one of the challenges of the season, and we have no choice but to accept the situation, which means finding solutions and, most importantly, being together both on and off the field," Slot said on the club's official website.
Isak has made 16 appearances for the club in all competitions this season, scoring three goals and providing one assist.
