Liverpool's head coach Arne Slot spoke about the departure of striker Mohamed Salah from the club.
According to "Report", citing "Sky Sports", the Dutch coach called the striker a "true legend".
"I hope that in the weeks and months ahead, while we continue to fight for something special, he will be able to make his legacy at the club even more significant. He will forever remain a legend at the club, because as I said, the team's successes in recent seasons are mainly due to what Mo has done for them," the publication quoted the head coach as saying.
He noted that Salah had an "impressive season" in his first year with the club.
"Mo has scored more goals and made the most assists, and I don't know how often that happens, I'm not talking about other players in the Premier League. Salah will definitely leave the club as a legend," said Slot.
The player previously announced his departure from Liverpool at the end of the current season in a video message on his "X" social media page.
