Liverpool coach Arne Slot believes that the "Anfield" factor can change everything in the return match, despite losing 0:2 to PSG in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals. At the post-match press conference, Slot honestly admitted the opponent's superiority:
"PSG played much better than us today and could have scored more than two goals. But the good thing is that my players showed combativeness and fought to the end. If we hadn't retreated, players of this level could have punished us even harder."
Speaking about the return match, the Dutch specialist said that he relies on the strength of the fans:
"If we want to pass the stage, we need the support of the fans for the "Anfield" miracle.
It should be noted that these two teams also met last season, and PSG won the round in a penalty shootout. Now Liverpool will be looking for a miracle at home to avoid a repeat of the same scenario.
