Liverpool head coach Arne Slot commented on the 1:2 defeat to Manchester City in the 25th round of the English Premier League.
Idman.Biz reports that the Dutch specialist stated that the opponent was superior in the first half.
"In the first half, City were better. They didn't create many scoring chances, but they had the ball more in our half. In the second half, we took the lead and had good chances. We took the lead 1-0 and gave the opponent almost nothing. Near the end of the match, the ball fell to them after a cross and the score became 1:1. We are almost used to conceding goals in added time, it happened again today," said Slot.
Slot also commented on the episode with Dominik Szoboszlai:
"This is not an incident to talk about. Maybe the referee should have continued the game and counted the goal, but if that's the rule, we have to accept it."
