Arif Asadov's predictions about the U-21 national team: "This team promises a more successful result compared to previous ones"

"In friendly matches, new head coaches mostly review the players and work on tactical schemes. From this point of view, the result of the game against the Belarus national team is not very important."

Arif Asadov told Idman.biz while talking about the friendly match between the national teams of Belarus and Azerbaijan consisting of football players under the age of 21.

The former coach of the national team stated that the team led by Aykhan Abbasov started the match superior: "The beginning of the match took place in the conditions of our national team's superiority. Our team even opened the score in the match. The main turning point of the match was the 30th minute."

According to Asadov, Aykhan Abbasov, who took over the "helm" of the national team in March, is in a kind of search period: "It is necessary to properly evaluate the players and draw good results from the defeat. There are many potential football players in the team. This team promises a more successful result compared to previous ones. I would especially highlight the performance of Edgar Adilhanov, Agadadash Salyanski, Murad Mammadov, Rufat Abbasov."

It should be noted that U-21, which lost to Belarus with a score of 1:3, will test its strength with the youth team of Montenegro on June 8 at the Sumgayit city stadium named after Mehdi Huseynzade as part of the preparation.
