"The first round is over. Looking at the league table, we see that there is a tough fight in the top six." Arif Asadov said this in his statement to Sport24.az.
The experienced expert commented on the completed first round of the Misli Premier League:
"The difference in points between the teams is very small. Those in the second 'six' - 'Gabala', 'Karvan-Yevlakh' and 'Kapaz' - will fight among themselves to stay in the Premier League. It is somewhat surprising that 'Neftchi' is in the middle of the league table after the first round. Since the point difference is not very large, the 'black and whites' can reach the leaders in the second round. For this, Samir Abasov's team must score maximum points in the second round. In the first round, 'Neftchi' was remembered for losing unexpected points in some matches. There is a tough fight for qualification for European Cups. This will also be evident in the next two rounds."
Note that one match of the first round - Sabah" - "Qarabağ has been postponed.
