The Argentine national team has refused to hold the Finalissima at a stadium in Madrid. Sport24.az reports that Gaston Edula, an employee of the TyC Sports portal, has released this information.
The venue for the match, which was supposed to be held in Doha, the capital of Qatar, has been changed for a known reason. Although UEFA offered the parties to move the meeting to the "Santiago Bernabeu", where "Real" plays their home games, the Argentine Football Federation does not agree with this.
It should be noted that the match will be held on March 27. If the Madrid option fails, Rome or Lisbon could host the Finalissima. The South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL) must now inform UEFA of this decision.
