The press service of the Argentine Football Association (AFA) announced the postponement of championship games. Sport24.az reports that this is due to AFA being accused of financial irregularities.
According to the source, matches scheduled between March 5-8 in all professional leagues in Argentina will not be held.
Earlier, the country's Customs and Control Agency (ARCA) accused AFA of failing to pay tax debts.
The local federation has already stated in court that it has paid off its debts and fulfilled all its obligations. ARCA, in turn, claims that it has not been able to collect the debts.
