Arda Turan, the head coach of the Ukrainian football club Shakhtar, answered the question of whether he feels fear due to the geopolitical situation in the country.
"Report" reports that Arda Turan expressed these thoughts in an interview with the Spanish newspaper Marca.
To the question "Do you feel fear or uncertainty?" the Turkish expert answered: "Not for a second. The people here have been going through very difficult times for almost 3 years. How could I doubt it in a place where they experience it every day and every second? We came to Ukraine to add a little joy to people's lives with our work. We will try to make them as happy as possible with our football and our achievements. My heart and thoughts are always with them."
Arda Turan also answered the question "How does this situation affect the daily life of the team? Does it make it difficult to sign contracts with players?" "Of course, it affects it. We are talking about life. But my players are incredibly professional. No matter what happens, they try to give 100% on the field. I respect them very much. I say at every meeting: "Football is important, but there is nothing more important in life than our families." I told them from the beginning that I am with them in every aspect of their lives."
