Arda Turan, the head coach of Shakhtar (Donetsk), commented on his team's victory over AZ Alkmaar in the quarter-finals of the Conference League.
Idman.Biz reports that he shared his thoughts after the match, which ended in a 2-2 draw (first leg 3:0).
"I have great respect for AZ Alkmaar. It was an emotional game for us. I think my team performed very well tactically. It is not easy to play against such an opponent because they apply very good pressing," said Turan.
It should be noted that Shakhtar will face Crystal Palace in the semi-finals. The first game between the teams will be held on April 30, and the return match will be held on May 7.
The tournament final will take place at the Red Bull Arena stadium in Germany. The decisive match is scheduled for May 27.
