"I saw the goalkeeper, he wasn't in a good position, so I took my chance and scored. Goal of the season? Thank you, it's a great goal. I'm very happy. I have a very good relationship with the coach, we are together in both good and difficult times. Today, after the goal, I shared my joy with him and my teammates. He demands different things from me depending on my position on the field. When I play in midfield, he wants me to be more active in building the game, and in attack, he wants me to play between the lines and deep. I always try to do my best."
According to initial calculations, the young Real Madrid star scored this goal from a distance of approximately 65 meters.
