Real Madrid head coach Alvaro Arbeloa may soon be dismissed.
Idman.Biz reports that the Spanish coach has faced harsh criticism after the club lost to Benfica 4-2 on the final matchday of the Champions League. This defeat prevented Los Blancos from securing a direct ticket to the 1/8 finals.
According to MatchDay Central, Arbeloa may be dismissed in February if the Madrid club loses to Benfica in the play-off stage.
Real Madrid's matches against Jose Mourinho's team are scheduled for February 17 and 25. Arbeloa took over as coach on January 12, replacing Xabi Alonso.
