Belgian footballer Ayyub Allash, who left "Araz-Nakhchivan", has made scandalous statements.
The footballer claimed that he paid his own surgery expenses after being injured and that he was not paid his salary.
Eldaniz Yusubov, the executive director of the club, who made a statement to Idman.Biz regarding the issue, said that the claims made are unfounded.
"We have already started legal processes. Allash has officially applied through his lawyer to resolve the dispute. When Allash was in Baku, an agreement was reached on paper regarding the payment of the debt between us, and one salary was paid. The reason for the delay in payment was the footballer's late return to Baku. He had surgery in April, but came in October. During this time, he said that he wanted to undergo a recovery process in his own country, and we created the conditions for this," said the executive director.
The club official also clarified the claims that the surgery expenses were not paid:
"We are a professional club, it is impossible not to pay the surgery expenses. It's just that the Allash side did not sign the documents related to the recovery process in a timely manner. Every time he said, "I will come to Baku, it will be paid there along with the salary." We already know the amount of the debt and we have agreed on it. The footballer's contract has expired, but he has not yet signed and returned the documents required for transfers. His debt will be paid in stages until the end of the season. We have not refused our obligations to any footballer."
