"Araz-Nakhchivan" players were eager in the test match against the Turkish representative "Bayburtspor", which they won with a score of 14:0.
"Report" reports that the head coach Elmar Bakhshiyev said this in his statement on the club's official website.
The specialist shared his thoughts on the test match:
"We have been continuing our preparations in Erzurum since July 6. We conduct 2 trainings a day. The players work in the fitness room in the first half of the day, and the second training takes place on the field. This was our first test match. Of course, we were aware of what the opponent was capable of. Therefore, we wanted to test all the players and bring them into the rhythm of the game. Our goal was to adapt new players to the team and improve inter-line communication. In such games, the result is not important, but how well the players who come to the field fulfill the given tasks is important. Everyone was eager. Our work continues. We want to make the most of the time before the official game and be ready".
"Red and whites" will meet with "Alanyaspor" on July 11, and with "Trabzonspor" on July 17.
It should be noted that "Araz-Nakhchivan" will face "Aris" (Greece) in the II qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League. The first match between the teams will be held on July 24 in Baku, and the return match will be held on the 31st in Thessaloniki.
