Aqil Nabiyev, the head coach of the Azerbaijan U-18 national team, has analyzed the opponents they will face at the International Development Tournament to be held in Minsk, the capital of Belarus.
The specialist said this in a statement to "Report".
He stated that they want to perform well in the tournament:
"We will face interesting opponents. We have already analyzed the teams we will face. 26 football players have been invited to the training camp. We haven't been with those football players for 4 months, we don't know what form they are in. For this reason, many players have been called to the training camp. 21 of them will go to the tournament in Belarus."
The specialist reminded that the games will be held on a tight schedule:
"4 games are scheduled for 5 days in the tournament. As you can see, it is a tight and difficult schedule. We may have some problems in this regard. We have roughly planned which football player we will give a chance from which minute. We are starting the training camp in Baku from today. We believe that this tournament will be useful for Azerbaijani football."
It should be noted that the national team will participate in the International Development Tournament, which will be held in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, from February 17 to 24. 8 teams will compete in 2 groups in the tournament. The national team will compete with the Belarusian, Russian and Uzbek teams in Group B.
