The Azerbaijani national team of football players under 16 could have scored more goals if they had taken advantage of the opportunities in the match with Kyrgyzstan, which they held within the framework of the III CIS Games.
According to the information of the employee of "Report", who was sent to Gabala, this was stated by the team's head coach Aqil Nabiyev.
He said that the match was difficult:
"We knew it would be difficult and the opponent would be aggressive. We watched two different halves. We kept the ball more in the second half. We qualified for the final. We are waiting for one of the Russian and Belarusian teams. The score could have been bigger if we had taken advantage of the opportunities."
A. Nabiyev believes they will become champions:
"The AFFA management is by our side. I believe they will be by our side in the final as well. I would say the same about the fans. We have already formed as a team. We have coordination and results among us. Victories come one after another in the last games. I believe that we will take the cup together."
